The Esthetician Course Curriculum:
600 Hours Training requisites for application to California State Board of Cosmetology Licensing Examination. Development of professional and attitudes skills and the knowledge to pass the State Board and secure entry-level employment. The curriculum for students enrolled in an esthetician course shall consist of six hundred (600) clock hours of technical and practical instructions covering all practices constituting the Esthetician program.
Skills to be acquired:
-The use of proper implements relative to Esthetician. -Developing the knowledge to recognize the various skin conditions and disorders. -The knowledge relating to products used by Esthetician and determined for individual customer use. -The safety precautions in the Esthetician practice. -The knowledge of doing facials (Manual, Electrical, Chemical), depilatories, makeup and false eyelashes. |
